Crisis Center
The Crisis Office offers assistance to low income persons unable to provide for the basic necessities such as shelter, food and clothing. Assistance is given by linking clients with existing community resources and by providing direct assistance where gaps occur. Direct services include access to our own food panty and clothing room. Also available to clients are bus tickets, and vouchers for gas, food and clothing. Limited financial assistance is provided for rent and utilities. Financial assistance is usually limited to the last $25 needed to prevent an eviction or disconnect. This program targets low-income persons or persons with no income, 18 years or older who need short-term assistance to maintain the basic needs not being met by government programs. Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12-noon; and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 1 to 3 p.m. Visit the the Achdiocese's web site for more information.
